It's on my list so I'll get round to it at some point I am sure

The Rock's Hercules film is on there now, it pretty good and quite a big/recent film for them to put up.

The Friday Night Lights film keeps popping up as recommended and I was thinking that it's a shame they don't have the series as I want to watch it, well great news, it's coming to Netflix this week.

Well after watching all thirteen episodes I can safely recommend to not watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
It's terrible.

I'm really enjoying it! I like Tina Fey's style of humour to it though so it is great viewing for medste01 wrote:Well after watching all thirteen episodes I can safely recommend to not watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

What do you like about it?
I really liked the characters but apart from that I thought it was really unfunny with lazy and predictable jokes. I love 30 Rock so was really wanting to like it but really did not.

I like it because it reminds me of 30 Rocks! It has the same sort of humour and structure to the last few seasons of that.
Re: Netflix. The thread of new additions, recommendations and Originals
I am enjoying Better Call Saul more than Breaking Bad. Only one episode left sadly.

Great, now you've made me not want to watch the last season of 30 Rock.
Wreck-It Ralph was added to Netflix the other day if people missed it.

Once Upon a Time has been added to Netflix. Â The first two seasons have previously aired on Ch5 and Sky Box Sets (where I first watched them) had them for a while too but no-one picked up season 3 in the UK, or season 4 (now edging towards its finale in the States) before now. Â I really liked it. Â Basic premise is essentially like Fables - story book characters come to our world and live in their own community (Storybrooke - see what they did there?). Â Won't say more to avoid spoilers but it is worth a go.

I added OUAT when it came on as I watched most of the first season but missed the last couple of episodes for some reason. It's not near the top of my list of things to watch but I'll get round to it at some point.
In fab news, Daredevil is on. Â
Watched the first ten minutes of the first episode and looks good. Have to wait for the O/H tonight before can watch the rest.

Still need to get round to watching the first season.
Has anyone started watching Between which is added weekly? Just been the first two episodes so far.

Been watching Videogames: The Movie on Netflix. It's an interesting kickstarted documentary on all video gaming. It's broad scope does mean it's quick and glossy, but it doesn't really go into any depth or say anything new. It is filled with lots of footage from games and some hilariously awful retro gaming clips.

I have that on the list.
Was going to watch it the other day but started watching MI: Ghost Protocol instead.

Videogames: The Movie is a bit.....crap. Good as a tool to say show your significant other or family what the hell games are and why they are so good. But if you have a basic knowledge of games history it is actually a bit boring to watch.
Re: Netflix. The thread of new additions, recommendations and Originals
Anyone having problems with their list?
We watch on the PC and when clicking on the list it only brings up half of it. Have missed three films going off recently as they didn't appear and didn't know that they were going off.

Has anyone been keeping up with the Netflix original content?

I've only just got into Netflix after getting rid of Sky. Over the last month I've watched Jessica Jones, very good, and Daredevil Season 1 & 2. Season 1 isn't that great but season 2 is a lot better. Jon Bernthal makes a great Punisher.

Yes, I watched Flaked and really enjoyed it. Will probably watch it again soon.dste01 wrote:Has anyone been keeping up with the Netflix original content?
nb. for anyone interested, Netflix picked up the Orphan Black rights in the UK. Season 4 eps will be up the day after they air in the US.

That's good to hear, I keep meaning to check on what is happening with Orphan Black since BBC3 went online only. I'll probably let the episodes build up and watch in chunks rather than weekly.
I have Flaked added to the list along with Love and all of the other Netflix originals. Just so much that I want to watch being added at the moment.

The Orphan Black situation is weird seeing as it is a BBC (America) production, you'd think they would have shifted it over to BBC 2.dste01 wrote:Moozo wrote:Yes, I watched Flaked and really enjoyed it. Will probably watch it again soon.
