Men in Black 3

It was alright, not found any of the films to be particularly funny. Josh Brolin was fantastic as a young Tommy Lee Jones.

Saw Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders tonight in a one night only special cinema screening. It's an animated cartoon of the Adam West style Batman voiced by the man himself. As a fun, unique movie it was great. The music, the gags, the catchphrases and bat-gadgets were all there. It did get a bit repetitive by the end but it was a good laugh

Limitless.

Found it to be pretty dull, really has not inspired me to watch the TV series.

Olympus has Fallen.

Was quite surprised how much I enjoyed this as it's unintentionally funny, heavy handed on the patriotism and generally daft.

Back in Time.

The Back to the Future documentary. Didn't offer anything new but was nice to see interviews with the people who made it and also with the fans.

Saw Inferno this weekend. It was alright - pretty standard thriller and mildly entertaining. It has some major differences to the book though which simplify the story and makes this less interesting.

Lucy - What a massive pile of crap.

Hotel Transylvania - An Adam Sandler film that was watchable, mainly as it was animated and decent enough.

Saw Doctor Strange. Despite the hugely positive reviews, I found this a bit humdrum. It's a standard origin movie. Plus I didn't really buy the magic elements. Even the magic just seemed like Inceptions dream sequences. And the film ends kinda flatly. I found it disappointing.

Also saw Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. Good but not as good as the first movie. It has a good storyline but they made some big changes to the novel, some good and some bad. Entertaining but a bit by the numbers.

Saw Doctor Strange recently and have to agree about it being yet another standard Marvel origin story for the plot/points but I did really enjoy the effects, jokes and characters. A lot of the references were good and subtle as well like The Ancient One using a magic shield like Cap at the beginning.

It was nice that it didn't end with the standard superhero fight but it did mean that for this film at least Dormammu was massively wasted, especially after the build-up through pretty much all of the film.

Cowboys and Aliens.

Slightly better than I thought it was going to be but was too long and massively cliched.

Frozen/Tangled/How to Train Your Dragon.

Seen them all before but are good films so don't mind watching them again, especially with the little one.

Independence Day: Resurgence. Somebody bought it me for Christmas and it's bloody awful, doesn't even do it as a mindless popcorn movie. Down to CEX with this one I'm afraid.

Beauty and the Beast - watched way back at the cinema. Introduced it to the little one.

How to Train your Dragon 2 - not seen before, really good.

The Final Girls - A slasher/comedy in the vain of Tucker and Dale vs Evil but due to a PG-13 rating not as funny or gory as that. Was worth a watch as was slightly amusing in places.

Premium Rush.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a cycle courier who is being chased by Michael Shannon for an envelope. It's a daft premise and knows it so doesn't take it too seriously. Is about 85mins long but could have still chopped a couple of minutes off to make it leaner.

Green Room.

Starring Patrick Stewart as the leader of a bunch of neo-nazis. A punk band (featuring Anton Yelchin) see the aftermath of a murder and have to try and fight the neo-nazis to stay alive.

Was good. Don't know if the word enjoyable is really right but is worth a watch.

Yeah I watched Green Room on Netflix last week. Pretty grim and gruesome but, as you say, worth a watch.

Kung Fu Killer starring Donnie Yen.

Yen tracks down a person who is killing the best martial artists and surprisingly I found it to be rather dull which was a shame.

The To Do List starring Aubrey Plaza.

Plaza stars as a woman about to head to College who lacks sexual experience so decides to make up for it. Decent cast but the film was only OK.
