Today

I havent felt like a proper proper adult in a long time.... I was at a parents evening sort of thing were they were talking about your childs GCSE choices and I was sat there wipering stuff to my daughter about how lame there powerpoint was and if they were going to get a teacher to talk bollox for 40 minutes couldnt they have made it an attractive one.... The main issue was they had sent out a book for you to read which both me and my daughter had read , it was explaining every GCSE to you and what youd do if you took it etc then they basically stood and forced you to listen to a long in depth for morons explanation of it.

I got to meet some of her new teachers though who I hadnt met before and they all said how great she was which was obviously awesome to hear.

Today I picked up a second hand copy of The Hobbit and Unexpected Journey from a charity shop, got out of the shop and looked at it, opening the case to make sure the disc was ok etc, the funniest thing there were 2 discs in there, one is the Hobbit the other is a lesbian porno DVD, had a good laugh over it

Today I was offered voluntary severance which I will most definitely be accepting.

Today I just started filling in everything to get a new short story up on kindle, if feels like a life time since I published something on there, almsot thought id lost my writing behind a never ending block.

Not today but last week I was successful in receiving voluntary severance and have accepted.

A bit of both.

Have been wanting to leave for a while now and they have cut a shed load of staff so I have taken the money and ran. The reason they are cutting jobs is due to the numpties at the top getting us into debt and slashing jobs left, right and centre at the bottom.

Well I've posted this elsewhere so why not here! As of a few days ago I am no longer a QA Tester! I am now officially working in Game Design as a Junior Designer!

Today I've been signed off sick for a week. Stomach bug that I've had for the past week and seems to get worse daily. Doctor now involved, woop.

Have ben signed off work for another week, bloods taken yesterday for testing.

Also managed to break my phone, not due to upgrade until June so looks like a cheap replacement as I'm not paying £120 to get it fixed.

Today we found out that our second child is going to be a boy.

Finished my job today, eeeek. Now officially unemployed.

Today I started a lactose free diet as advised by the dietician to try and figure out why I was so ill at the end of last year.

Today my son was born.
