Just a thread to post something from your day no matter whether it's trivial or serious, obviously you don't have to post something everyday.

Today I have a stonking cold and found out that I had not been shortlisted for two jobs that I applied for. Sad

Today I bought my first Christmas present, which is good going for me as I don't usually even think about Xmas pressies until about mid December, then panic!!

I'm nearly done! I always try and get my presents done in November. I find the increased number of parties and social things in December means that just to spread the financial cost of Christmas I like to get the presents out the way leaving my December pay slip for Christmas dinners and alcohol!

Ive done everyone apart from my dad, my fiancée, my fiancée's dad and one of my nephews.

I am determined to get it all done before December starts as I hate busy shops etc... It hasnt been helped by a ban machine swallowing my card , which then had to be cancelled and me having to wait for a new one.

I see what you did there... Wink

I only need to buy about three or four presents aside from my partner as these days everyone has kids so it's just buying for them which I leave to the partner as I would be terrible at it. Plus I think that she has most of them sorted already anyway. Very Happy

Talking of kids, today my little one had to be collected from nursery and then my partner took her to the doctors as her temperature had sky rocketed. Turns out it's an ear infection and antibiotics have been provided.

I've made a bunch of minor changes and tweaks to the site that I have been meaning to do for a while.

It is mostly background stuff but there are a few posts dotted around the place that are worth looking at to do with the changes and plans for the future Smile

A good place to start is in Site Feedback/Suggestions

If that happens I will be very angry because I am away this weekend!

I've booked today off work to receive and play the game a bit before I head off so I am also hoping it get here relatively early.

You jinxed me!  Laughing

Dealing with GameStop and UKmail has been a mess! I currently have no idea where it is and I can't contact anyone to find out. I waited until 8pm which is the absolute latest time he UKmail people told me it would be delivered Rolling Eyes  It could be sat on my doorstep now for all I know. If it is, by the time I get to it on Sunday evening it will be completely ruined.

*sigh*

This is like the fifth or so time something like this has happened with deliveries for me in the past month. I've had multiple packages go missing in transit, things turning up late and one thing being delivered to someone living around the corner.

I need to cut buying physical things on order down to a minimum it seems. The postal gods have it out for me!

Today it's the Formula One Championship decider and I don't think I'll be able to deal with it if Rosberg wins.

After giving UKmail an earful on Saturday my copy of Dragon Age was delivered at 7:20 this morning as I was leaving for work Smile

I know my complaining worked because the assigned delivery slot was 3-4pm.

Orderd Pokemon for me and my daughter from Shopto... here is hopping. Todays been spent sorting stuff out and trying to do as much xmas stuff as I can so its knocked on the head... if Christmas could just hold me up at gunpoint and tell me an amount it wants to f off each year it would be much easier.

Today I had to take the car in to be fixed as a spring coil snapped off last night.

Only three days in and already I'm starting to hate 2015.
