Demo for Horizon 2 is out today which I'm looking forward to trying. Will try and stream it and/or post a video.

I know hardly anyone owns an Xbox One but we are a multi-platform forum and someone might care other than me!

One other good bit of news is that the VIP membership is 50% for Forza 5 VIP members. Some loyalty rewards are nice.

Im the same  ... not never but Like im not buying a xbox one till there like £150 or something a PS4 and a Wii U is more than enough to be getting on with ...plus the ps3, xbox 360 and years and years worth of retro machines

 Certainly not in the forseeable future. I'm not playing my 360 at the moment, so feel that any game purchase for it would be a waste of money. And I got so much to play on PS anyway, I really don't need to buy more...

When I got my PS4, I relegated my Xbox to my bedroom. Unfortunately, it appears to have been its death knell. Instead of playing games in bed, I'm mostly just using it as a DVD player.

So far I have only dabbled but yeah its good. Same kinda tight gamplay Forza is known for but with the thrills and openworld of NFS. I would say its nearest comaprible game is The Crew. Very much like this but without the story or the variety of 'missions'.

Having said that, H2 seems to be better. The driving is solid, looks great and a whole lot of fun. There is also a massive nod to Project Gotham Racing (not sure if anyone played it back in the day). But PGR had a scoring system based on driving with flair called 'Kudos'. Well H2 has basically the same thing. Im glad about that because thats what made PGR so much fun in the first place.

Whether this is indeed a better driving game than say The Crew remains to be seen but I think it'll be a better racer for sure.

No point to make, just interested. I could guess from the way you were describing the second game that you hadn't played the first.

Yes, it was very good but quite short in some respects. I'm hoping the second one has a bit more content and it sounds like it does. Still need to try the demo.

I agree about it being a bit like PGR with the points system for driving 'cool'. Adds an element of fun to a racing game.

Yeah lol, I'm guessing my description was a bit noobie but I only have the demo to base it on. I think I'll take a look at it though maybe not day one as Ive only just got Forza 5 so I want to give that some love first.

Was that captured via Xbox own DVR or do you use your own? Also how did you get in on YouTube?

Captured via Xbox One DVR then uploded to MS OneDrive which then enables me to upload to YouTube. Got some more coming up. Trying to keep them short so not to be too boring.

It looks really impressive. However, it does makes me want to see what they can do without the constraints of being cross-gen.

Agreed. However, I can only assume the engine is the same as the Forza 5 engine as looks extremely similar and that wasn't cross gen.

I'm sure I read the 360 version is pretty much a different game and not made by the same team even. Might want to double check that though.

Can`t wait for Forza Horizon 2. Whilst Forza motorsport 5 is a good game its lacking something i want more than anything from a videogame! FUN!
