Re: Latest Purchases
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. I loved New Order last year, the best FPS I played in 2014, so I've been looking forward to this standalone expansion. Very reasonably priced too with an RRP of £15 for a game that's about as long as something like The Order or a COD story campaign, although I only paid £13.85 from ShopTo.

Re: Latest Purchases
Jewel Master for the megadrive 10quid complete. I owned this in Japanese as a child and was certain I still had a copy somewhere but upon going through all my games no I didn't.. so went hunting for the cheapest copy I could find... It was either 7quid for a Japanese cart only version or 10 for a complete UK version so I went for the complete one as it seemed to make more sense.

Re: Latest Purchases
I got Last of Us remastered and Codename STEAM (and a couple of Fire Emblem amiibos, which can link up with the latter) for my birthday.
I also bought a New 3DSXL a few days ago. I thought it was a decent price at £147 (365games) but then Amazon dropped its price to £140!

Re: Latest Purchases
I have just bought Project Cars. I had a CEX voucher burning a hole in my wallet for ages and I wanted to spend it on this game but it was not appearing in my local store but they had lots of copies online. When I found out I could use my voucher online I thought I would give it a try. It could be a gamble as you will never know the quality of the game buying unseen but I thought it might be worth a try for the first time and see what the results of CEX online is like.

Re: Latest Purchases
I'm kinda thinking as the game has only been out a week or so people haven't had time to wreck them yet.

Re: Latest Purchases
What is their delivery time like?
I am another one who has recently purchased Wolfenstein The Old Blood! £15 for a fairly big chunk of game that will also have some trade in value? Brilliant! It also helps that it is more of one of my favourite fps in ages.

I've just completed the first of the two Chapters in Old Blood, it took about 4 hours so if Chapter 2 is a similar length that's a lot of game for what I paid. Looks to have some replay value too with lots of collectibles to go back and look for with Chapter select and Challenge stages as well. It's also an excellent FPS in it's own right too.

Re: Latest Purchases
Ive had cex deliver stuff in 2 days then occasionally they have took a lot longer, but I have mostly been ordering old stuff that they had very low stock of, So I guess some of the longer ones have been due to them crawling around finding the stuff from there depo.

Re: Latest Purchases
An update on my CEX order for anyone that's interested: I ordered on Sunday and delivery would have been Weds but as it was sent recorded delivery a signature was required and no one was home. Why they couldn't just post it through the letterbox i don't know. So I didn't get it until today but the good thing is that I seem to have gotten a new copy as its in cellophane so that's a good thing in my book! Overall impressed with my CEX online order and would even do it again.

Re: Latest Purchases
A bought a New 3DS XL. it's a decent piece of kit.
I was sceptical about the nub as a second stick but it actually works well. The 3D (which I usually turned off on my old 3DS XL) is a lot more stable with a larger sweet spot (I now leave the 3D on).

I already have a few of them but with all the stuff it just seemed like too good a deal to pass up.

I've still got my Gamecube boxed up in the loft along with a few games and one of those wireless Wavebird controllers, haven't played on it for about 8 or 9 years though. It was Nintendo's last great console.
