There's a demo available for Life Is Strange, yes a demo! -  they've virtually become extinct since this gen started, anyway I might try that out first. GameCentral reviewed Epsiode I today and they rather liked it, scoring 8/10.

Yeah I am thinking of grabbing them myself.. I brought a load of PS2 games awhile ago and Suikoden 4 was one of them. Having a brief go on this and vague memories of the orignal has tempted me.

Saw a new and sealed copy of Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright for 3DS on sale in ASDA of all places.

Grabbed it at the first instance as never thought that I would see a copy in the shops.

Grabbed Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines for Vita today, a very reasonable (or suspiciously cheap, depending on your cynicism) price of £15.99 with a couple of bits of DLC also chucked in for early adopters.

Put a little time into it although I haven't got far as there's been too many external distractions today but early signs are positive. Seems to have various settings depending on how much time you intend to put into the game, naturally I chose the one which should give up to 100hrs of gameplay. The game seems really deep and I haven't even got close to looking into all the options/gameplay mechanics available. Looks lovely, nice soundtrack and I love the fact that it's been released with a Japanese-only dub.

I may post some more thoughts as I get deeper into the game, however, I can't help thinking I'll be wasting my time tongue.

Also picked up the DLC for Lords of the Fallen which was one of my favourite games of last year. I haven't worked out how to access the content yet, although I've not really had a chance to look into it. I have three different saves across the differing classes so I'll probably work on my Mage/Cleric file as that's the class I've not yet completed the game as.

I've got my eye on Oreshika but I am being good at the moment and not unnecessarily adding to my backlog Cool

New XBL Gold membership.

1 year for £24.60 was a rather good price compared to RRP of £39.99.

MLB The Show '15. By far the best sports sim on the market (IMO) and when I saw it was only £37 for the PS4 version on the PSN Store I couldn't resist.

Despite my general dislike for digital, this still worked out slightly cheaper than it would have been had I imported and I never (or very rarely) trade in games anyway. I missed last years game as I wanted to give SDS an extra year to work with the PS4 plus I have started trying to avoid buying sports updates every year.

Should you end up getting '15 at some point I'd be up for some online games. Highly unlikely that I'm going to try playing against our friends from over the pond as the netcode on this franchise has always been spotty enough and lag in a game like this is killer.

A 2TB HDD for the PS4 as my initial drive was getting full.

Also grabbed Bastion yesterday, although I already played (and completed) it a while back on the 360 I was itching to play it again.

I spent my Rakuten points from buying my Xbox One on The Order - brought it down to £7.  Just played the pre-title sequence so far.  Well, I say 'played' - I watched a bunch of stuff happen and was allowed to a press a button every so often Wink

Also picked up SingStar on PS4.  My voice sounds like a goat being castrated but my wife and daughter like the series.  This ones seems to hang together a bit better - the PS3 one was getting creaky by the end. The 'use your phone as a mic' feature saves me hunting around for batteries for the actual mics too!  Shame not all of my PS3 purchased tracks are available for download, but I figure that is licensing (my family will have to put up with the strain of my not being able to murder sing the Nick Cave tracks...

I also pre-ordered Splatoon + squid Amiibo

Despite never thinking I'd do it, I bought a sub for EA Access on my X1. NHL15 has just been added and I liked the PS4 demo of that, despite no interest in ice hockey and not having played an ice hockey game since the megadrive. For £20, I'll have access to that and a few other games that I'd probably never buy but don't mind a mindless bash.

Driveclub Season Pass for £19.99 - great value considering it has bumped up the overall stars available from 225 to over 700!!!  That is a lot of content and a lot of rather lovely cars....those Lamborghinis in particular are stunning.

Also picked up a Star Wars X-wing Miniatures Starter Pack for myself and a friend.  We already have a starter set but fancied having a larger set of ships to use.

I keep almost buying the X-Wing and/or Armada stater sets! I'm already going down the rabbit hole of Imperial Assault figure packs so I don't think my bank balance can handle another collectable game Laughing
