Bought Akiba's Trip on a whim the other day and made a start on it over the weekend.

This is a very Japanese game....

Part visual novel/dating sim part beat em up.

The object of the game is to tear the clothes of the opponent. They're vampire like things and this is how you expose them to the sun 

It just about gets away with it because it has a whole meta commentary on Japanese otaku culture and fandom. It is also strangely compelling 

Tomb Raider on the PS4 "Deal of the Week" - £19.99. Bingo!

Sunset Overdrive - It's not going to win any GOTY awards but it's very colourful, very silly and just a lot of fun. It reminds of something SEGA might have made when they were in their pomp.

Pre-ordered GTAV for PS4 from Tesco today. With the new features and content I decided if I could get it for under £30 by way of codes, points or trade ins etc. I would go for it. 

Tesco had a £5 off pre-orders code and could use Clubcard Boost as well which meant any £5 Tesco vouchers I had were worth £10 against the game. Ended up paying £12 'real' money as it were so very happy about that. 

I feel I didn't give the game a fair crack first time round so am happy to try again for £12.

I had an obscene amount of club card points after doubled up myself so spent most of them on presents for people for Xmas but had enough left to buy tomb raider for the ps4...

spent 15quid in my semi local pawn store and got 2 PS4 games NBA2K14 and Air Conflicts Vietnam Ultimate Edition.

Went to go get Dragons age and instead spent the money on Destiny - Vanguard Armoury Edition (PS4) 30 quid new and sealed and a second hand copy of Moto gp14 for PS4 20quid... oops DA I is going to have to wait.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories on the Wii.

Picked up Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings on the Wii the other day. Mainly picked it up for the unlockable feature of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis as I've never played it before.

My first retro purchase for a while. I spent 8quid on White Knight Chronicles origins and silverfall both complete for PSP, wanted White Knight for awhile now.

Was Killer is Dead the limited edition version?

yeah  never seen a copy thats not though  they all seem to either be special edition or fan edition.. Its second hand though so 50 50 if the codes been used.

Damn, cheapest I've seen it here is £14.

oh and the code hadn't been used so even better

Cex sell it for 5 second hand when in stock if you can get past the local druggies and the smell of stale piss (for other users not all CEX's are this bad, ive been in some almost nice ones but I know dste's local is)

^^^ Yeah I've only ever seen LE versions too. Kinda like Sonic Transformed where every copy seems to be a special edition. I was interested in the 'Fan Edition' but unfortunately wasn't able to justify spending on it at the time and so I missed it. Still need to get Killer Is Dead as I love Suda51 games.

Look up on Amazon and ebay how much the hack games are ''sort of'' worth and youll want to even more. If I wasn't a collector I  could make a killing on them specially as I already own the first so now have all 4 parts.

Amazing haul there Kerr; lot's of games I would pick up myself if I saw them.

And a fiver for that SNK compilation? Serious bargain!

Picked up the season pass for Life Is Strange (Episode 1 out today) as I've been curious about this for a little while. 

Only really played up until the point where the demo ends but it seems to have promise. Appears to be a mix of The Walking Dead (without the technical issues...so far ), Heavy Rain/Beyond with maybe even a small hint of Alan Wake. It could also become Donny Darko: The Game. Already beginning to fall in love with the soundtrack, which the developers have stated will play a big part of the experience.

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. The little I played of Remember Me had promise but Dontnod didn't quite manage to utilize that to its fullest, hopefully this'll do a better job.

I'm on the fence about it still. Might wait to see how people like the finished product before buying it.
