Re: Football, isn't it?
Well you know them better than me but I think they'll be alright. Momentum is everything at this stage of the season and they have it, Newcastle are more likely to go down than Leicester for me, even though I think Sunderland will be the third team.

Newcastle very lucky today, point against West Brom and Hull losing to Burnley.
Burnley down though despite the win.

Leicester safe, as I thought they would be, now it's between Hull, Newcastle and Sunderland. Hull look doomed to me, I can see Sunderland and Newcastle losing their remaining games but I don't think Hull will beat Man U. Not because United are playing great football but just because Hull can't score.

Newcastle are playing West Ham last game. We are awful ATM, so Newcastle are safe.

Re: Football, isn't it?
The only hope for Hull is that Man U have now qualified for the Champions League, so don't really have much to play for. Having said that though a relaxed United with the players they have, and no pressure on the result, could also give Hull a spanking. Plus Hull have never beaten United, yeah they're doomed! lol

So Hull went down, Arsenal won the FA Cup, Rio Ferdinand retired and Blatter remains head of corruption.
Sorry, I mean head of FIFA.

So the new season is beginning already.
League and early cup fixtures out, Nigel Pearson sacked as Leicester boss and transfers have started going through. Southampton in the transfer news again with Clyne signing for Liverampton and the club terminating the contract of their record signing Dani Osvaldo two years into a four year contract.

Thank god Sterling is finally going to warm the bench at Man City, sick of bloody hearing about it.

Man Utd have made some good signings. Schweinsteiger has loads of experience and is the kind of commanding midfielder they've missed since Roy Keane really. There have been question marks about his age but he's still only 30 so if they can get just a couple of good seasons out of him as younger players develop it'll be £14 million well spent. Depay, Schneiderlin and Darmian are all young, exciting players with a lot of potential.
If they can also get a top quality striker and maybe another defender, and keep hold of Di Maria and get him playing at his best, they could be a real force next season.

Yeah, they are certainly not hanging around in the transfer market. Going to be a different looking Man United next season and looks like they may need a new keeper the way things are going.

Only four games into the Premiership season so still early days but is currently an interesting looking table.

Good result for Forest at the weekend, I did think that if we had lost Freedman may have gone.
Well done to Vardy for breaking the record.

Re: Football, isn't it?
Leicester now just need one win from three games to guarantee the title, unless Spurs lose one of theirs then it won't matter.

Re: Football, isn't it?
Disastrous weekend for Newcastle. If Sunderland beat Everton at home on Wednesday, which is likely as Everton are in free fall, The Toon are doomed!
Similar situation for Man City at the other end after that draw with Arsenal. If United win their last two games Pep will be slumming it in the Europa League next season!

Re: Football, isn't it?
Well Sunderland did get that win over Everton to relegate Newcastle and Norwich.
Kind of a shame that Man Utd lost as would have been funny to see Man City in the Europa League. Mathmatically can still happen but only just.
