I know!
And I work with two City fans too. Working at home tomorrow but looking forward to seeing them on Tuesday

Tom Ince has signed for Forest on loan, still think that he is an egotistical pillock.

Like father, like son...
I saw him for Blackpool a few times. He's good.

Unfortunately he couldn't help stop the rot on Saturday when we lost 3-0 away to Huddersfield.

Malky Mackay announced as Wigan manager.
Apparently Wigan have put in a clause stating that they can fire him in he is found guilty by the FA for sending racist, sexist and homophobic texts.

Ha ha, any particular reason you hate him?
You'll probably hate him more now that he has been accused of anti-semitism. Also a sponsor of Wigan has ended it's agreement over the appointment of Mackay.

Re: Football, isn't it?
It's, being a Wolves fan, to do with the way he has set about dragging the name of our Norman Deeley through the dirt with regards to his broken leg. He's spent years talking as though he was on the receiving end of some horror attack when in fact it was Whelan himself who made the tackle and came off worse. There's footage floating about on the internet if you can find it.
Norman is no longer around to defend himself which makes it even more reprehensible.

And he's a massive dick. Guilty of price fixing of England shirts and called, in that tribunal of being "an inconsistent witness".
Appointing Mackay while still under investigation seems a massive PR cockup.

Re: Football, isn't it?
Yeah, your results have been awful these past four games. Still sitting just five points outside the play-offs though and only two points behind us.
Man City managed to progress to the knock-out stage of the Champions League tonight.

Due to the FFP Forest cannot sign permanent players, just loans under strict rules. The day after the embargo was put on one of our fans won £250,000 for the club to spend on players.

Re: Football, isn't it?
Well with just over half the season gone in the terms of games played I'm now not fancying us to go up at all. Normally this would be the time where I would think about trying our best and preparing for next season but with the recent transfer embargo I cannot even do that.

Before yesterday I would have said that if he had lost there would have been the possibility of him going, since we won I reckon that he will get until the end of the season at least.

Re: Football, isn't it?
Another one of my rare visits to this thread but:
Seahawks are going back to the Superbowl!
As those of you poor souls who have subjected yourselves to my twitter at this time of year will have no doubt guessed, the NFC Championship game was a wild one. For 57 minutes the Seahawks were bloody awful (on offense anyway) and didn't deserve to get anything from the game. However those last few minutes provided one of the most intense periods of football I've ever witnessed (as well as a reminder of why I freaking love this sport), so many things had to happen and by some bloody miracle, everything fell into place. Just enough for the Seahawks to claim the win in OT.
Not just the most improbable series of events ever in the NFCCG but the biggest comeback in the history of that game (had a 16 point deficit at the half, and were still trailing by 12 with less than 3 minutes left in the game).
So after many long suffering years, it's a great time to be a fan and the Seahawks are now heading back to the Superbowl , a feat that hasn't been done in over a decade. Hopefully I'll be back in this thread two weeks from now celebrating back-to-back wins.

I'm not surprised, absolutely horrible way to lose especially when you had so many opportunities to seal the victory.

Re: Football, isn't it?
Wow, if you would have said yesterday afternoon that by the end of today Chelsea and Man City would be out of the cup and Man Utd would be held to a draw by Cambrige I would have said no way but that's the beauty of the cup.

Was kind of expecting Stuart Pearce to be fired after losing to Millwall on Saturday, was not expecting to have Dougie Freeman in charge around half an hour later.
