If you're watching the MS show live how are you going to do it? I'm using the Live Event player on my Xbox One.

It started at 5.30pm. I've not watched, but have followed a live blog. It's sounding pretty decent to be honest.

2am for Sony!

Missed the first half an hour or so. Better than the last couple of years of Xbox pressers. Tomb Raider looked great and while I'm not a Gears fan, the new one looked decent. Backwards compatibility (if it works well and covers enough games (100 by Xmas apparently)) might be a master stroke to get those who have not jumped next gen to take the plunge.

And I'd be interested to know the 30 Rare games on the Collection. Might be getting that.

It was OK but didn't blow me away. Due to the many pre-show leaks only backward compatibility and the new "Elite" controllers were real big surprises, I think the "play games you own for free" comment was a dig at PS Now, lol.

Rise Of The Tomb Raider looked stunning graphically but a poor choice of gameplay imo, with almost The Order levels of player non control. Gears 4 looked as I expected it too.

I missed most of the Hololens stuff because I lost the feed for a few minutes.

Have to say that that was the biggest pile of shit ever. I've grown used to not seeing anything of note from Microsoft's E3 presser but even I didn't expect this to be as fucking dull as it was, with absolutely nothing of note.

It did reinforce that their staple exclusives (Halo, Gears and Forza) are just not my thing AT ALL and haven't been for a while.

Backwards compatibility may have been a nice touch IF I was still in possession of my 360 collection, then again, I'd probably still have the console too in that circumstance.

All that VR/Hololens stuff can just fuck right off.

The Rare Collection may be the only decent thing confirmed, although I can't say I'm in a rush to replay those games again, certainly not at the expense of purchasing an XBox One which still has very little else of interest to me personally.

Disclaimer to the last sentence. I should add that whilst I've had some enjoyment from the PS4 I wouldn't say that I've been blown away by it yet and I also don't expect Sony to show much of interest to me in their conference later on.

I thought it looked quite good. Gears and Forza are both series I love. I think the Backwards compatability was a good touch that it will be good to see Sony copy, and they also announced Rainbow Six Vegas and Vegas 2 would be free with Siege, which I also hope comes across to PS4.

We already know that Sony seem to be light on games, so it doesn't look too good for them...

The new "Elite" controller, $150 though apparently so I'm guessing £120 minimum over here!  No

Xbox One is getting a new dashboard, which they should have mentioned in the conference. Bringing back the 360 1.0 slide-from-left Guide.

It needs it, can't stand the current one. Cluttered, slow to navigate and confusing. Here are a couple of snapshots of what the new interface looks like.
