Re: Bugs Here Plz
Managed to do some more exploring of the forum settings and I have discovered how to remove the limit on threat titles!
You no longer need to hit a minimum of ten characters!
So go nuts!

Not really a bug, more an observation.
On the old forum any thread that had unread posts had a little icon. However, on the new one that icon only seems to stay for a little while. I'll have a look in my personal settings to see if there is an option to fiddle with this but I was wondering if others had any ideas.

That's ongoing thing that I keep getting. Try clearing your browsing data and forum cookies that seems to help.CPC6128 wrote:Not really a bug, more an observation.

I opened a support ticket but haven't heard anything back yet

Not sure why, but I'm suddenly getting some very intrusive ads on this website. They even appear over the body of the forum text, and stay over the page, even when scrolling down. Is this just me?

We have to have ads somewhere unless we pay to get rid of them for now I think I have it set so they don't appear if you are logged in. Then again I could be wrong because as the admin I get a slightly different view of the site.Wolvieware wrote:Not sure why, but I'm suddenly getting some very intrusive ads on this website. I have an annoyance using the mobile version.
When i look at a thread on my mobile it always starts with page 1. When the thread runs into multiple pages its annoying having to next page them all.
Petty i know.
A workaround is to requset Desktop version. So that ypu can go directly to the last post.

I've noticed the clock on the site is 10 hours forward of the actual time. At the time of posting it says it's Sat Nov 01, 3.36am when it's actually Fri Oct 31st, 5.36pm.

It's been like that since the clocks went back last weekend* so I assume it might have something to do with that.
*It's been bugging me all week but I just couldn't be bothered to mention it

Yeah I noticed that too, can't find anywhere to change it in the admin panel. for now though you can set your time zone manually in your Profile settingsPorcusHawk wrote:megablast16 wrote:I've noticed the clock on the site is 10 hours forward of the actual time. Thanks! Changed it now, for some reason the forum believed I had moved to Papau New Guinea

I've altered the time on my profile to be inline with the current time but it's still odd when you first click onto the forum to see that posts you posted on the day are being shown as posted the day before.

Re: Bugs Here Plz
I think I have managed to fix the time zone problem forum wide now so that everything is set to British Standard Time for both logged in users and guests.
EDIT: I also change the browser heading from NotTheNowGamerForum to The Checkpoint. Be sad for its loss for we are now no longer associated with them in any capacity
