Batman: Arkham Knight
So we all knew Batman had been delayed from release this year, but it's now not actually due until June 2015!! That's quite a push back. At least that means there will be something to play next Summer...!

2015 is shaping up very nicely. Pity about 2014.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
The content may be good but I'd never pay that much for a game, I'd just keep thinking of how many other games I could have got for £170!

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
I'd say your not really paying that for the game though. Collectors would pay that for the bat mobile - the game is the bonus.

True but it's still the equivalent of 4 new games, I'm talking as a non collector though. And the missus would kill me!

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
I think if I had the money I would get it. But then if I had money there would be a lot of stuff I would buy! I will pass on these special editions I think - just the standard version for me. Even that version comes with some Harley Quinn DLC.

The bat mobile is great.... but Id still rather spend that much on multiple games... heck being me Id buy the batman game regular version then get piles and piles of retro gear if I had that kind of cash spare

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
I've been replaying Arkham City recently and whilst it's reasonably enjoyable, I'm still really not that keen on the open world aspect of it and it has served as a reminder to why I far preferred Asylum.
That would also explain why I'm struggling so much to get interested in this one.

I have to agree regarding City, it felt bigger for the sake of being bigger and ended up feeling like side quests were there due to them needing to fill in the space where as Asylum felt like a really good contained game where everything was there for a reason.
Still really excited for Knight though.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
If it needs the extra time to give the game more polish than I am more than happy to wait for it!
Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Three weeks aint' too bad, plus it will give me more time to enjoy Witcher 3 now. Rocksteady have also released some brand new gameplay footage.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Rocksteady appear to have a genuine wish to only ship when they are happy with it (and have the track record, RockStar style, that allows them to dictate terms).

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Amazon is getting Harley Quinn story DLC, free with preorders. Lucky I preordered from them already!
Pre-orders of Batman: Arkham Knight at Amazon will receive a Harley Quinn "Story Pack" set before the events of the main game, focusing on the Brooklyn-accented super villain as she wreaks "havoc inside the Blüdhaven Police Department", according to a listing at the retailer.
"For the first time in the Arkham series take on the role of Joker’s psychotic side-kick Harley Quinn and wreak havoc inside the Blüdhaven Police Department," reads the listing. "With this exclusive Story Pack experience events in the lead-up to Arkham Knight as you infiltrate Blüdhaven to rescue your partner in crime: Poison Ivy. Delve deep into Harley’s demented nature and utilize her devastating baseball bat to smash, crash and bash your way to a friend very much in need."

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
WB Games have announced that the season pass will cost a frankly ridiculous £33 for which you'll get "regular content for 6 months", that's not far off the cost of the base game itself. I don't care what the content is they can fuck right off.
