Classic Star Wars Games

As part of the Star Wars PS4 console bundle, you get a special branded PS4, Battlefront, plus codes to download some classic Star Wars games: Super Star Wars, Star Wars Bounty Hunter, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars: Racer's Revenge. But the good news is that these games will also be available on PS Store for everyone, and with trophies.

Prices still TBA, but I actually think this is quite exciting. I remember really enjoying Pod Racing and Jedi Starfighter on PS2. And while Bounty Hunter is a bit of a crappy title, it might be a bit of a nostalgia blast. I don't think I ever played Super Star Wars, but I could be tempted just to give it a try. This is, of course, if the pricing is right...

The pricing is the main thing to consider but for the right amount I would be happy to play through some of these again.  Bounty Hunter was okay, if ridiculously tricky but both Podracer and Starfighter were great!

Cool that we are seeing a SNES game on the PS4 I hope we see more.

I remember playing Super Star Wars on the SNES back in the day. I haven't played any of the others though.

Will probably grab Jedi Starfighter too and maybe Bounty Hunter. Racer Revenge I'll probably give miss, I like the N64 original too much. 

Also there is a distinct lack of Dark Forces/Jedi Knight and Knights of the Old Republic in these classic games....

Maybe this will pave the way for more titles and maybe more BC on PS4.

I want to see how much they are going to charge for Super Starwars. Nintendo charge like 5.50 or something for a SNES game , its a long time since Ive checked so I might be wrong... if Sony can charge less for SNES games and get other developers on board then it would be a winner especially if they can vastly undercut Nintendo...  I mean sony do charge like only 3.99 for most of its own PS1 games and even a lot of ones where it is clearly sharing the profit with another company.
