Star Wars Battlefront

Holy crap, the trailer gave me shivers of excitement. It's not actual gameplay but sets your mind racing about the potential the game has.

It may seem silly to say about a game that's sci-fi and fantastical, but I hope they keep the realism of Battlefield in Battlefront. If it is a Battlefield game with a Star Wars skin, I will be very happy.

Not remotely interested in this myself.

Just been reading up some details on this:

- There will be a tie in novel called Twilight Company
- No single player campaign. Game is a coop and multiplayer games, although coop missions can be played in one player.
- Free Level DLC based on The Force Awakens available near film release 
- No space battles. All action based on planet. However you can pilot aerial vehicles including the Millennium Falcon.

This is going to be so good

I can't wait to see some gameplay footage. I really hope that it keeps on par with the visual quality of the reveal trailer. So many crazy things going on!

Looks good but I would have liked some space battle stuff.  It will be interesting to see how the 'legend' characters (Vader, Fett) fit into the minute by minute play of the game.

Eurogamer have a nice break down on the gameplay walkthrough people at Star Wars Celebration saw over the weekend. Sounds very interesting

I've been enjoying it. Its great in short 30min or so bursts and the variety of game modes helps keep things fresh.
