The Checkpoint YouTube Channel

I'm looking into the best way to set up a YouTube Channel for The Checkpoint that a few of us can contribute to.

I should hopefully be making in it in the next week or so and I will put up more info then.

The current plan though is to use the Channel to show playlists of The Checkpoint members gaming clips from their own channels and uploaded to The Checkpoint channel.
I also have the grand idea of people posting content made just for the channel.

So if people want to start making original content for The Checkpoint let us know what you have in mind below and the collective can then Yay or Ney it.

I have a you youtube channel but sheesh its been a long time since I managed any content  ..Id love to make some but need to see how a few thngs develop in the next few weeks.

I still need to make the Channel itself   

I should hopefully have time over the weekend to get it all setup properly.

Ok because things are never easy I have had to set up the YouTube Channel via a Google+ Page for The Checkpoint

It is all very bare bones at the moment but there are some upsides to doing things this way:

1. We can have multiple people managing the Google+ page and as a result the YouTube Channel.
   
2. It looks like I can fiddle with the forum settings to get better ties into the Google+ Page so people who find that will find the forum, etc.
   
3. It allow me to keep everything under one main admin account.
   

So first things first, those who are interested in sharing/creating content for the YouTube Channel head on over to the Google+ Page for The Checkpoint and follow it: https://plus.google.com/102530971846366855215/

Let me know when you have and what you would like to do for the Channel, Page and the Forum going forward and I'll get all the permissions sorted out.

We can only get a custom URL when we have a tonne of subscribers and the more subscribers we start off with the quicker growth we should have!

Do people still want to do this or should I put YouTube stuff to one side?

I do. I'm doing a lot of videos now of me playing games as I quite like it. I do think it will be good to have the forum connected to a larger website like YouTube where people may stumble across it. If this is a long process for you to set up Cal I don't know, but I think its worth doing. Is it possible for us to all post videos individually that appear on our account but linked to a checkpoint channel?

I'll do some digging this weekend and see what sort of setup we can run with it
