Saints Row ...and Gat out of Hell

No one else will probably comment on here or if they do it will most likely be to say there not interested but I am super excited to see that there will be a Saints Row 4 stand alone expansion called Gat out of Hell, ion which you play as Johny Gat ripping the hell out of well hell.......

In a way its a bit of a shame to not be your own created character but then again Gat is so over the top that I think this game will be even more over the top than all of the Saints row stuff seen before.

I'm not interested. Saints Row is a one joke game that's been two games too many.

Yep, spot on! Fucking shit franchise. IMO, of course.

I played the first two, which weren't too bad, but then the series went batshit crazy. I know it's supposed to be the polar opposite of GTA's seriousness but huge pink dildo's for weapons just aren't my thing.

Its the bat shit crazyness I like..... to me GTA lost it with 4, everything looked so grey, you were driving around getting harassed on the phone by your dick of a cousin etc it was like having a virtual boring life to replace your own... I liked the fact that in comparison to that Saints Row 3 had you doing crazy stuff, the fact it didn't try to take itself seriously and go oh look at me I am so arty.

The last GTA I really loved would probably be vice city.... Ive completed all the GTA's up to San Andreas but just cant bear to finish 4 or 5.. yet I have finished saints 3 and 4 and even dipped into the DLC

Saints 4 was great because it became a parody of not just GTA but Mass Effect and the Infamous games and all sorts ... I also like how full of cultural nods and references they are, there's some pretty big references and Head Nods to the animated transformers movie from the 80's in 4 which absolutely delighted me.

I played 3 a bit and it was fun-ish, particularly in co-op but seemed to be trying too hard.

Struck me as more Mercenaries  than GTA (but the co-op was not as fun as Mercenaries 2's).
