PS+ August 2016
August’s Free PlayStation Games are as follows;
Rebel Galaxy, PS4
Tricky Towers, PS4
Yakuza 5, PS3
Retro/Grade, PS3
Patapon 3, PS Vita
Ultratron, PS Vita, PS3, PS4
A pretty good selection until you hit theVita PSP games.
I dip into Rebel Galaxy everyone and then for a day or so and would recommend it for anyone who enjoys games a bit like Freelancer from way back when.
Also interest in giving Yakuza a go because I have never played one of them before.

Re: PS+ August 2016
Seems a pretty decent month really but I stopped paying for PS+ .... I just felt I couldnt justify it and Xbox Gold anymore so I made the choice of Xbox Gold, partly cause I can usually manage to find it a lot cheaper on various websites etc and because I like the fact everything they are brining onto it now will work on the one console (Xbox One)...

Yeah same here. I dumped PS+ nearly a year ago and got Gold instead, only cost £21 for 12 months from CD Keys, it usually offers better monthly games too. And, as you say, the 360 games can be played on XB1 now as well, so that's 4 games a month.

Sorry? This is a good month? Worst selection I've yet seen! Some months the games don't interest me but at least I've heard of them. These games I've not even heard of, and even watching the promo video have zero interest. The Plus games selection badly needs to improve!

I don't think it will though Wolvie, it's been like this now basically ever since PS+ became a requirement for online play and PS+ subs haven't declined, in fact they've grown considerably since PS4 launched because it's needed to play online. There's no incentive for Sony to put AAA retail titles on there anymore.

I have no problems with it. I like getting smaller games I wouldn't necessarily pick up on my own. But it would be good to get more AAA titles.
