Horizon Zero Dawn

OK, so how come nobody told me about this game? Or did I just miss it? Is there a thread already, I couldn't find it?

But Horizon Zero Dawn! This could be my most looked forward to game right now! It sounds brilliant - robot dinosaurs, Witcher 3 style open world, brilliant graphics....I'll be keeping my eyes on this!

I saw it at this years E3. It's by Guerrilla Games, makers of the Killzone series, and it does look good doesn't it.

It doesn't sound like my cuppa though.

I saw it at E3, thought it looked awesome.  I think you can chuck in some Tomb Raider there as well, the use of bows and arrows especially.

There is actually a teaser/Easter egg for this at the start of Killzone: Shadowfall in the kids bedroom.

Release date for Feb 2017. One of only 2 games I'm looking forward too that I've preordered it and the new trailer still looks great.

If it follows the usual pattern for PS4 exclusives I doubt it will come out in February though. I'd guess about next May.

I'm happy to wait longer for it if it means a better final game. It's Guerrilla Games' baby and if they need more time, give them more time.

Absolutely, I'm not moaning about the delay itself just pointing out with Sony's terrible track record with their big PS4 games this gen it's unlikely to come out in February. They seem to have learned their lesson though at E3 with no dates, even years, given for their newly revealed games.
