RIP Christopher Lee
Just heard the sad news that movie legend Christopher Lee had passed away aged 93. I grew up watching him as Dracula in those old Hammer Horror movies, and he was the best in the role ever in my opinion.
He created many more iconic roles including Lord Summerisle in The Wicker Man, Scaramanga and Saruman. He even bought a touch of class as Count Dooku in the otherwise average Star Wars: Episode 2, as he did in everything he was involved in. RIP

Sad to see him go
He played so many iconic roles and characters. He was also a man full of stories, charm and wit. He lead a crazy and interesting life right until the end.

Yeah I am the same I grew up watching him in lots of different horror movies... not sure if he is my fave Dracula as I was also a very big fan of Bela Lugosi in the role... but I do know that I will literally watch anything with Lee in it because the man was an amazing actor..He also came across as one of the nicest men to have ever made it on to the silver screen.

I think he was perfect as Saruman. Made for that role.

Words like hero and legend are pointlessly thrown around a lot these days but in my opinion he was and is a legend for his acting and for the stuff that he did outside of the acting.

Reading some of the obituaries at the weekend hammered (no pun intended) home how full his life had been. Legend.
