The Ouja is being sold off.
Apparently Android console maker Ouya is looking for a buyer after it failed to restructure its debt.
So the news has hit that Mesa Global, the investment bank, will be managing the process of selling off the Ouya. This is the same firm that previously managed the sale of Songza to Google.
There main selling point is that they have a catalogue of over 1,000 apps and 40,000 developers and that they have the largest library of Android content for the TV. So will it sell.. who will buy it? Does anybody Care?
I have seen the ouja for sale in game and a few other places and I have even picked the box up and looked at it but I dont know a single person who owns one or has even played on one... I tend to think its just going to be brought by someone for its Andorid content, so its apps and such can be made to work on something else like phones or tablets and that the console its self will be dropped and forgotten.

Re: The Ouja is being sold off.
The concept of an Android based console was always a weird one for me. Android games are largely designed for mobile devices and most people have a smartphone capable of playing the titles that Ouya boasted. With that in mind I could never see the appeal of Ouya. I remember it being hyped when it was announced but it always left me scratching my head.
