Guitar Hero / Rock Band Resurgance

Nah I'm not paying out again. It's not like they were reliant on graphics as such so not sure what benefits 'next gen' can bring to these games.

It'll more be in the delivery of songs through whatever the networks have evolved in to.

The new Guitar Hero looks......interesting.....



That live audience thing is going to get very annoying very fast I think!

I wonder if it will be possible to change the background images/first person live stuff? 

I have to confess, the new button arrangements intrigue me...

Well, it has Under the Pressure by The War On Drugs so they're half way to my purchase

I think they have had enough time laying low with the franchises so it could be popular again providing they don't do what they did last time and completely saturate the market.

I love playing the ones from last gen and hope it succeeds but from the few bands announced there are none that I am bothered about and according to reports they are trying to appeal to the mass market. Most likely means that will be few tracks on there that I like which if this is the case I'll be passing on it unfortunately.

I'm sure I read that they were not planning on releasing many stand-alone games once this is out and that they will instead focus on a steady stream of content to play.  Almost like a Spotify where you play the songs.
