Ghostbusters reboot

The line-up has been announced and it's:

Kristen Wiig
Melissa McCarthy
Leslie Jones
Kate McKinnon

I don't know the third and fourth names and I'm not really convinced by the first and second but we shall see.

I like Kristen Wig and like the original there is a lot of Saturday Night Lice folks in there. I'm interested in seeing what they do with it.

I am also enjoying watching all the people getting angry because they are not only remaking Ghostbuster but doing it with women instead. People need to get over it when it comes to this sort of stuff.

I always thought Ghostbusters was over rated.

Agreed, they're fun films but some people talk about them like they are cinema masterpieces.

I love Ghost Busters went to see it on its anniversary last year with my daughter fiance and her sister.

As far as I am concerned I will watch the new one and take it on its own strengths... if its awful its not like its going to make the old ones, and the cartoon and everything else explode out of existence, which is what most people seem to not get when something gets a modern sequel or remake

Exactly. People are kicking off due to not possibly being a continuation of the first two films and if it is and it's crap people will kick off about it ruining the original films.

Whatever the film makers do people will whinge.

I hope to see the ghostbusters in it cameo style, the originals  .... The first ever draft for the Original GB was about it being a franchise like McDonalds , basically you brought the rights to the name, hired the equipment etc 

So do that Have peter or Ray be the person these women get the franchise from, have peter etc retired from active busting.

I loved the first GB film. I bunked off school to watch it and Gremlins on the same day with some school mates, so it has a great nostalgic  value for me - the film, the merch, the title song (and the Spectrum game!)


The second one sucked balls though.


As far as the reboot is concerned, I'll wait on reviews.

The costumes and Ecto-1 revealed.

Not 100% convinced either work in pictures as the orange stripes look a bit meh an Ecto-1 looks to square.
