Star Wars Battlefront - AT-STs and being hip!

More info about Star Wars Battlefront is trickling out of EA's clutches before the presumed grand gameplay reveal at E3. 

The first is a "well that was expected" bit of info: You will be able to control AT-ST's in the game. Who doesn't want to control a walking death tank that can be taken out by Carebears with sticks?!

The second has me all kinds of happy: There are no Iron Sights in the game! Some guns will still have and use scopes but there will be no looking directly down the barrel of gun and obscuring all the pretty graphics in Battlefront which is great!

Shooting from the hip is what all the cool kids do anyway….

If you tell me I can melt Ewoks with laser fire then I am on board.

If you can pin a thermal detonator to Jar Jar binks back and watch him run around screaming and then blow up then it has game of the year potential.

I understand that we want to create more threads to promote discussion but I don't see why this battlefront thread.

Just seeing how far I can push the new news = new thread idea.

I can merge the threads if people want to.

In other news it turns out the game doesn't have Classes or Squads! Two more things that annoy me in shooters are not going to happen!

Although there looks like there is a Partner system for those who want to share rewards, unlocks and such.

A partner system sounds like it could be interesting.

The wording is a bit weird it could mean having a partner online playing with you or partner as in fellow split-screen player.
