DC Cinematic Universe: The Joker Reveled!

The slow rollout of info and images continues! This time we have our first full look at The Joker for Suicide Squad:


Looks like a cross between the current short haired design:


The Joker from All-Star Batman & Robin:


So it continues with them pulling from the Dark Knight Returns setting for the Batman side of things. He looks a bit...well....weird but that is sort of what the Joker needs to be.

Exactly - a non-weird Joker is not a Joker!

Not going terribly well for DC then at the moment.

I really liked Suicide Squad. I'm also interested in the extended cut of Superman Vs Batman even though my better judgement tells me it's not going to improve the film! 

I also enjoyed the trailers for Wonder Woman and Justice League which gives me hope. But I always thought DC were rushing by trying to emulate Marvel but without the groundwork they had already done. It's all far too rushed.

Yeah, that's the thing, Marvel have taken the time to build up the universe over eight years and DC have looked at that and decided that they want it now.

Also the calibre of people that they are getting (Zach Snyder) compared to Marvel (Joss Whedon) is not good.

I've not seen any of the DC films yet. Man of Steel I'm really not bothered about watching, BvS I was slightly tempted until seeing the reviews and Suicide Squad I was going to go and see as seemed interesting and fun but again after word of mouth and reviews I'm not bothered.
