I loved it, yes it was basically a giant bunch of social commentary about War and other things going on in the world but thats the beauty of Sci Fi you can talk about serious things to people who wouldn't listen to them and get away with saying what you sometimes might not want to out right say.

The Zygon Inversion - Loved it. That speech, wow. Cannot see how anyone can complain about Capaldi being the Doctor after that episode.

Sleep No More - Meh. Found footage was different but the episode underneath it was same old until the end.

The Zygon Inversion was amazing and has rocketed up to one of my favourite episodes of both the current series and Capaldi's time as the Doctor. Haven't watched Sleep No More yet because I currently don't have internet at homeĀ  Sad

So has everyone watched last weeks?

Thought I would keep quiet on the posting for a few days in case people hadn't managed to watch it.

Quite enjoyed The Husbands of River Song.

Nice to see it all loop back to her first appearance.

Also iPlayer currently has the Tom Baker serial The Face of Evil.

The Xmas special was good. Cheesy but good. Also happy that it has rounded out and finished off River Song's story.

Although they didn't show or mention Red Energy for her sonic screwdriver. I guess that's something that happens off screen

They're gonna wheel them out on to the pitch? Razz

EDIT: What are the odds on the new companion being a young-ish attractive female???

A young-ish attractive female, that's just absurd. As you are aware they have managed to avoid that so far so cannot see why they would suddenly start now.

I think it will be Alan Shearer. Just signed a new four year deal with the BBC so can do MOTD and Doctor Who.

So there you go.

Hard to make a judgement on two mins, could go either way.

I like that she seems like a normal-ish person. Looking forward to seeing more of her next year.

Did anyone watch Class?

I enjoyed it. Was far from perfect, characters could be annoying, plot points rushed through, but thought it was worth a watch.

A mindless fluffy enjoyable romp for the Christmas special.

Found Matt Lucas to be quite good with being more restrained.
