Overlord: Fellowship of Evil Announced

So those fucking pricks at Codemasters have decided that the next Overlord game, called Fellowship of Evil, needs to be primarily a 4 player co-op game. Way to kill any excitement about the return of the franchise.

The worst thing about all of this is that (the doubtless) poor sales of Fellowship of Evil will mean that we'll probably never see a proper Overlord 3.

Personally I think it looks quite good. I never really got into the first two games and this looks like a decent Diablo Clone that I can enjoy with the wife so yay!

I was disappointed to read that it would be executed like this.  I really liked the first two (and the Raising Hell expansion to the first (?) game).  It had a sense of English-ness about it, like Fable or Medievil, in terms of humour and feel.  Fantasy games can tend towards po-facedness and these were refreshingly free of that.  

I have the Wii game too but in my pile of shame. From the sounds of this, I'd be better of playing that!
